Now available for a special 10th Anniversary Edition of Weathering, the seventh album by epic45, originally released in 2011 to rave reviews and was chosen to be ‘Album of the Week’ by Stewart Lee in The Sunday Times.
The album has been remastered for vinyl in 2021 by RedRedPaw who paid close attention to the original cd master. And is, for the first time, presented on ‘Transparent Weathered Glass’ as a double 180g pressing.
Reprocessed imagery will allow you to see the decay detail of the front cover, and as a bonus, side D, homes a reworked version of the original end of album music. The release is limited to 300 copies and comes with an insert of unseen images taken by Ben Holton & Rob Glover at the artwork session.
Weathering features collaborations with Stephen Jones (Babybird), James Yates, Antony Harding (July Skies), Richard Adams (The Declining Winter, Hood), The Remote Viewer, Rose Berlin, Sarah Kemp & Paul Gregory (Lanterns On The Lake), E.L. Heath & Paul Manasseh.
**This is an extended pre-order as sadly, we are in a long queue for vinyl production (6-7 months) but we hope that this will be shipped around Christmas 2021.
“Weathering really should be in your collection whether you be a post-rocker, fan of melodic electronica or enthusiast of accessible experimentation. This band is clearly not about self-indulgence but inclusiveness. Fantastic.” MDoc’s Amazon review from 2011.

“Their strongest work yet… stunningly emotive work” David Bell, The Quietus (June 2011).
